Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Enter through MIT Welcome Center main door, take the stairs or elevator to Floor 3 and use your valid MIT ID to tap in.

Student Spaces
Students are welcome throughout all five floors of iHQ, but these are the spaces specifically designated as workspaces for students—from phone booths and small meeting spaces to coworking and event space—we’ve got you covered.
Floor 3: Student Innovators Lounge
Open space for meeting, celebrating, collaborating, team-building, drinking coffee, and just hanging out. It’s a great place to host interactive events like socials and networking meetups.

Floor 4: Student Venture Studio
- 3,000 square feet of open modular coworking space
- Seating for approximately 40

Floor 3: Voxel Lab
Voxel Lab is a prototyping space available to anyone in the MIT Community interested in working on music and arts-related projects.
A cross-departmental project by MIT Music and Theater Arts, the Arts at MIT, and the MIT Office of InnovationHQ, the Voxel Lab offers space and tools for creative work in music, photography, textiles, fashion, and other digital arts.
The Voxel Lab is student- and community-run. While we do have a few faculty/staff helping to organize the space, student groups and dedicated individuals play a large role in shaping the current and future facilities and activities.
